Character: Vil Schoenheit
Canon: Twisted Wonderland
Canon Point: Episode 5, Chapter 39 (Main Story)
Character Age: 18

Canon Abilities/Powers:
REGULAR MAGIC: As a third year student in Night Raven College, Vil is able to perform elemental magic - fire, water, earth and void. They usually manifest as elemental blasts in combat, but the assumption is that these types of magic can also be applied for mundane uses. Each magic user has a magic gem that serves as the source of their energy to fuel spells - dark splotches will appear the more magic is used and will fade naturally with enough rest. Overuse of magic in a short amount of time causes the gem to go completely dark and trigger Overblot, a berserker state which can lead to memory loss, physical weakness and potential death. Vil's magic gem is laid on the cover of his grimoire.

UNIQUE MAGIC: Vil's unique magic is the ability to intentionally lay a curse on anything that he touches. Once he has laid a curse on an item, it is powerful enough that he cannot override the curse - the curse must be broken by fulfilling the conditions that he has set when the curse is laid. Understandably this is very op and game breaking, so I'm going to nerf this by not allowing him to curse anything that's already got some effect on it (so he can't curse anything that's already a Plot Device) and that if he uses it more than three times in a day, he's liable to trigger Overblot and all its associated consequences.

POTIONS/MAGICAL PHARMACEUTICALS: Vil's best subject in school is magical pharmaceuticals, so he has a good working knowledge of potions, poisons, antidotes and the like. Additionally, as dorm leader of Pomefiore, Vil is implied to be very adept at creating poisons, as the test to ascend to dorm leader involves creating the deadliest poison out of all their peers. He's also known to create his own cosmetics and perfumes!

ACTING/MODELING: Aside from being a student, Vil is also a full time actor and social media influencer. He's good - good enough to have 5 million followers on Magicam (fantasy Instagram) and regularly be offered movie roles for popular franchises in canon despite his age. It helps that he entered the industry early.

What is their greatest negative emotion towards an object, situation, or person in their past?:
"Mira, Mira, please enlighten me. Currently, who is the most beautiful of all?"

"The first web result that I obtained using the keywords “beautiful” is— Neige LeBlanche."
Vil's greatest negative emotion is his resentment, directed at Neige LeBlanche, a rival actor and celebrity that Vil is often compared to. Vil's resentment stems very much from the fact that Vil himself views Neige as an insurmountable roadblock in his opportunity to climb to the top and fulfill his own ambitions.

How aware are they of this negative emotion, and how do they act on it in canon?: To provide some context - Vil is extremely accomplished for his age and experience. Canon indicates that he's been engaged as a top runway model for high-profile fashion shows, has more than 5 million social media followers, and any products that he endorses tend to sell out immediately.

However, those accomplishments aren't enough, because Vil's goal is the relentless pursuit of beauty and perfection, to be acknowledged as the most beautiful and be recognised for it, and for all the work that he's put in to achieving those milestones, he somehow still comes in second place to Neige, who appears on internet searches as the most beautiful.

For the most part, Vil's resentment of Neige seems to be the type that simmers quietly in the background - whenever Neige is brought up, Vil's regular course of action is to either stay completely quiet, or to deflect and turn the conversation away from Neige, especially if he and Vil are being directly compared in this scenario.

Of course, when resentment builds, it also tends to explode spectacularly. It definitely comes to a head when Vil receives a movie offer for a famous movie franchise, and is angry and upset that he's being offered the role of the beautiful antagonist (which is the kind of role he's usually typecast into) opposite Neige's protagonist. It's implied that this is not the first time that Vil has been passed over in favour of Neige, which causes his resentment to flare up and for him to angrily decline participation in the movie, completely against the advice of his manager. To Vil, being relegated to supporting antagonist is not something that he wants. He wants to be the protagonist for once - he's more than just a beautiful face. If Neige can be given the chance to act as the protagonist without actually auditioning for the role, why can't Vil be afforded the same luxury? It's just not fair - a culmination of frustration that everything he's wanted is being handed to Neige on a silver platter, and that his goal seems to be unattainable because Neige is in the way.

Needless to say, it doesn't work out very well, since this one singular incident seems to have shattered the veneer of Vil's confidence at this point, and he seems to be headed towards a downward spiral as of his canon point.

What is their greatest virtue?:
"My progress is far from over. I need to shine even sharper, and even more beautiful than I do now."
Vil's greatest virtue is his determination and drive - Vil is very serious about self-improvement and betterment, all in the relentless pursuit for beauty and perfection, and his unwavering commitment to getting the results that he has set his sights on.

How aware are they of their virtue, and how do they act on it in canon?: He is definitely 1000% aware of it. To put it bluntly, Vil is the kind of perfectionist that is hard on who he works with (during the rehearsals for the Fairy Gala and the Vocal and Dance Championships, he is relentless in his critiques and his training regimens, to the point of the other students calling him a tyrant) and even harder on himself, the embodiment of a professional who demands the best of his partners and holds himself to even more punishing, demanding standards. He will not allow people who are seen with him to look sloppy, because it reflects badly both on the other person and on him.

For Vil, there is always something to sharpen, to improve himself, because beauty isn't just looks, it's intelligence, strength - it's putting in effort to be the very best that he can be at any given point in time, because even Vil admits that he has to work very hard to prove that he's the best at the Vocal and Dance Championships to feel like he deserves the winning votes of the public. His work ethic is such that he accepts nothing less than the best from himself. He loathes laziness and half-hearted efforts, and would rather work with someone who puts in genuine efforts even if they are unable to meet his demanding standards exactly.

Vil's drive and determination also bleeds into other positive character traits. Vil is strict, but his motivation is to help people unlock their potential as much as they can - he's devised beauty regimens and the like for other students, and was able to whip Jamil, Kalim and Leona (who had no modeling experience whatsoever) into passable models for the Fairy Gala event. He's relatively open-minded, because being determined to improve himself means that he's open to using non-conventional methods - when Epel complained that ballet was "girly" and not "manly" enough, Vil is quick to reprimand him that there are no such divides, that he is being close-minded not to use ballet as a tool for strength and muscle training. To a certain extent, Vil is also willing to listen to the opinions and views of others, because there may always be something that he could have missed out.

Items:
- His grimoire
- Clothes (he'll wake up in his dorm uniform, but he can have something more comfortable as a treat.)
- ... A full suite of his skincare products because not even being trapped on horror island is going to devastate his skincare routine, thank you very much.

Special Notes: I'd love to explore his unique magic in this setting, but otherwise, nothing else from me!
